In Gundam 00 episode 23 if you have catch it, you will be able to see more power of the GN Arms used by Gundam Dynames instead of Exia. (Sad that Lockon Stratos is gone from the series if I have not seen wrongly)

But, before I focus on the GN Arms, I will talk a little about the Trans-Am system that has been used by all units except Gundam Dynames.

In episode 23, it is shown that this system will fully release the power of the GN drives that give the gundam a boost in mobility and power. But, the system will used up the GN Particles very fast due to the releasing rate. So, this also means that the Trans-Am system will drain of the Gundam’s GN particle when activited and reduce the capabilities to the lowest after the system is at its limit.

Back to GN-Arms^^

This time, the main focus of GN Arms is on Gundam Dynames where he has used more power of the GN Arms. So, the first power I am going to talk about here is the GN shield. This capability is not new to us gundam fans if you have been watching all episode of Gundam 00 as it is a power carried by Gundam Virtua. This shield can be used to block normal missiles and also low energy gun like laser guns but it seems that it will not be able to block the red GN particles shot in all directions at the same time.

Second is the 4 GN blaster which has the capability to shoot out 4 huge GN particles beams that can even destroy carries. If you will refer to this and this, you will be able to notice that the 2 blaster at its right hand side is connected by a joint which can be filp back when not using. But the joint is actually one of the weak point to the enemy as the defense on that part will be reduced.

This is the third and also the last capability of GN Arms shown in episode 23. It is the GN missiles that can be used to blow off the GN-X. This missiles are also not a new invention as it can be seen from here that this power is also used by Gundam Dynames except that the amount that it can fire is a lot more.

So, after looking at the power of the GN Arms, how do you think about it? It is powerful or weak?

I think that it is good at boosting the power of the Gundams by increasing its mobiliy and power. But, I also think that the structure are not that good after all as it can be destroy very easily with just one fire on the main body of the GN Arms.
