GN Arms. An equipment that will be used to boost the power of Gundam Exia in its Normal mode and Trans-Am mode. Currently, it is the gundam 00 weapon that interest me the most. Have always wonder about what types of power will it have when equiped with this weapon. I have only seen the GN Arms pilot in a form of combat container by Lasse Aeon in Gundam 00 Episode 22. The power that it use is only a sort of GN particle blast which I think is the most basic weapon used in GN Arms. Will see more power from GN Arms in next few episodes.(Hope so)
 
This weapons looks pretty cool to me. Love to have something like this for me to pilot. If Gundam Exia is using the Trans-Am system, I wonder how will the GN Arms change accordingly. Maybe even the whole unit will become red^^

Now, let me have a short recap on the Meteor Unit use in both the Gundam Seed Destiny and Gundam Seed.
Although Meteor is design for use by Freedom and Justics, but I think it is only good when use to fire on big numbers of slow number of targets or those that are really big. When fighting with gundam like Legend using only the Metor Uni, it will loose out for sure.

Comparing GN Arms and Meteor Unit:Â
With the full capability of GN Arms unknown, I feel that GN Arm will be more powerful (Some of you may feel different). By looking at the size of the equipment, I would say tht GN Arms will have more mobility than Meteor. But for the firing power, we will have to look at the next few episode to confirm the true performance.
If both gundams with Kira and Setsuna were to fight with each other and assuming that they both have unlimited energy and using all their equipment, who you think will win. I would not want to guess as I think it will be very hard to guess the right one. Both have different type of system like Dragoon System in Freedom and Trans-Am System in Exia.

personally like the meteor better….although the gn arms seem way more compact and made for manuverability…depending on the type of battle they fight:
close combat exia is king and long range fight the meteor and freedom would most likely win with their 6 cannons (4 on meteor and 2 on the freedom) and i believe 77 missiles
To Vincent: Hmm… both have their own special feature that allow them to suit for battles as to say but as if I were to choose which to display, I will choose GN arms as it is more cooler^^
Opps…I forget to mention. I actually own a meteor too^^ But it is kept in a box as I have no space for display.

lol i respect ur choice in the gn arms…i prolly dont like it as much cause i havent watched the series yet so i know nothing bout it =)….and im planning on getting a meteor soon i hope

In terms of energy. As Freedom is powered by nuclear generator, that means its energy output level and the storage is very high. But as for Gundam Exia, the GN particle will have a limit and if it goes with the Trans-Am mode, the usage rate will be far greater. If both go in full blast, Exia will lose out due to energy insufficient^^
In terms of combat in normal mode. Exia will be best for its close combat as he has quite a number of sword for usage but it will be bad at long range battle as it doesn’t have anything specially equipped for long range. Freedom will be good at both as it has swords, shield and also blasters with the special aiming system. Freedom will have a higher chance of winning
But anyway, I think it will be up to the situation. As some communication will take place and this may change the result^^
But then again, I think overall, both of them will not fight with each other but to fight together….Haha

To Vincent: Which country you live in? If you are living in Singapore, I can introduce you to a shop that sell almost all gundams (GN Arms included)…..But be careful….if you are a all time gundam fan, the hole in your pocket will get bigger (after getting all the model kits)^^
yo guys, i TOTALLY agree with mr. anime fan….. I was quite a big fan of all the gundam series but never really collected models until my friend gave me 15 of them as a present. Yes, i prolly wouldnt feel the need to buy anymore? WRONG!!! I started liking to models soooo much i ended up buying 1/100 of all 4 gundams belonging to celestial being, then i bought
MG of freedom and strike freedom and i just cant stop!!!! Now i have all main hero units from every recent series whether it be wing, justice,freedom,desinty, exia….
My opinion on the Exia vs Freedom fight, I would look at it in 2 scenarios: being on land and in space without GN arms or METEOR add-ons.
Exia would prolly dominate on land due to its mobility and lighter body weight. We see alot more of Exia on land than freedom and even less for strike freedom.
As for in space, freedom’s long range hip rifles and guns would definitely be more useful in the larger movement space then exia’s 7 swords.
All in all, i think it all depends on the condition of the pilot and how well they adjust to the combat situation respectively.

I remebered. My first official gundam is actually Aegis Gundam from Gundam Seed. It was like 4-5 years ago given from relative. Then I started to get a lot till I now have like 3 1/60 scale Gundams. Of course I stopped getting that scale.
Hmm…Never though of land and space. I believe what you said is true. As for the adjusting to the combat situation, I know Kira will be the one to adapt at the fastest speed by looking at the battle he has in the desert when their ship fall down to the earth surface in Gundam Seed.
Not necessarily… I think even though Kira is a coordinator, he lacks resolve, although he does eventually turn pro after a shitload of EXP gained in fighting. Setsuna has learned to keep his cool even at the age of 16 and I believe he will perform even better in season 2. so yea, exia and 16yr old setsuna is comparable to kira learning to pilot strike and his early moments inside freedom, while strike freedom and pro kira will have a more interesting battle with the older setsuna in season 2 of 00.

Now I am really looking forward to how Setsuna will perform in season 2! If I want to guess the result of the fight between Pro Setsuna and Pro Kira, I will first need to know the power of the Exia at the end of season 2 to decide^^

I don’t know about the GN Arms vs Meteor. Although I like the GN Arms better, I’ll have to say that the Meteor might win. Don’t forget the Meteor has two giant beam sabres just as how GN Arms has two GN Blades (the things sticking out in the front). I like the look and design of the GN Arms better though, cause the Meteor just isn’t as cool. The color scheme of GN Arms looks better as well. I like Exia better than Freedom as well, and you can’t compare the two, csince they specialize in different combat types.
To Brian: In a fight, I think there is no certain actually. Cos there will be other factors that will be included in like emotional feeling and threats in other places.
I would actually hope that there will be an episode that shows the GN Arms fighting with Meteor….^^
Yup. The colour scheme and design on GN Arms is much more better than Meteor for sure.
i like more exia exia would own freedom because its really damm fast even more than destiny
haha well , i believe that Gundam Seed’s and Destiny’s plots are way way better . More romance , more units and more focus on the characters as well , though some may beg to differ . Another thing is that , i dont feel that Celestial Being is worthy of upholding its ideals at all when there’s Kira’s unravelled ideal of “keeping the pilot alive during battle” against “target is determined to be the source of conflict. Proceeding to exterminate.” the latter seems to urks me when they are trying to maintain peace through killing. Kind of an irony.
And well. w/o any units to come into play, i strongly think that Kira will dominate. Well duh , seed mode itself is way cooler.
But with gundam fighting capabilities, w/o addons or seed, freedom will have the upper hand since it has both long and short range advantage. There’s also the energy limit too.
But with addons, seed mode jus cannot meet up to transam though the energy limit of freedom is too high to measure. I mean if the transam can move at such a godly speed that the seeded pilot cant catch up with and exia finishes freedom in a few seconds or minutes. the energy dont matter at all. so it depends, seed or transam ?
Its obvious who is superior w/o any addons. just watch the episode on the 4 gundams being overpowered by a thousand mobile suits. i dun think the freedom has any trouble at all dealing with that amount and mind you, they are both fighting on earth environment. so both in space and earth, freedom will be superior. this is my take on the issue though . not being overly oppressive or what.
well, gundam seed and destiny series appeals to me a great deal more than any of the series with its amazing plot and strong ideals. not to mention the gundam and the cool dominating seed mode ^^

I totally agree with Ben and how about Freedom VS Exia with their support ship arc angle and protolemios cos MS should come with their support ship “WAR IS TEAMWORK”.I think Freedom and Arc Angle has more chance with positron cannon,hell dots,sledge hammer missile etc. than Exia with no fire support from Protolemios and the GN field can only protect them from energy weapon not missile or bullet.Oh one thing I’m not sure if the 7 blade of Exia could cut down the Phase Shift Armor.
