I actually really like this idea from Gundam 00 of building a solar energy system beyond atmosphere and around the earth where free energy will be received 24 hours a day. As the system is build beyond the earth, there will be no such thing call night and raining time where no solar energy can be collected. Most of our solar energy systems currently are small scale and are build within the earth sphere.

As there are lots of issue currently regarding the oil price rising and resources become really limited, I personally think that building a solar energy system like that will definitly help. If there are free energy received for usage of things like cars and computers, fuel will be able to be used at a much smaller pace. With free and abundance of energy, I can say for sure that most of our problems will slowly be reduced.

With the current rising of oil price, I can say that it has been a very bad news for us anime fans or perhaps the anime fans from overseas instead of fans from countries that are doing the production^^.

Although figures can be quite cheap at the start, it is all the shipping cost that cause us anime fans to have holes in pockets^^ With oil prices continue to rise where the usage of oil is not only on the shipping but also in the making of figures, I don’t think we can do anything big to help it but we can only start to think carefully before we choose what to buy =D.

For example, a Dengeki G’s Festival! DELUXE Vol.2 Magazine can cost only 3600yen at retail price which is about SG$48. But once it reach Singapore, this Mag can cost about SG$80+/-. Feeling sad right^^
